Attorney General Sessions scrapped 25 guidance documents related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) going back to 1995 today (8 January 2018). Education Secretary DeVos rescinded 72 policy documents related to special needs kids on 21 October 2017.
Sessions called the revoked documents “improper or unnecessary” and said they were outdated or went beyond what the law called for.
“outdated, unnecessary or ineffective.” – Department of Education

But, given that our special needs kids and other disabled Americans have so far to go, simply rescinding policies as “unnecessary” doesn’t sound like a real review or update.
It sounds more like…
.. not only we don’t care.
… but we REALLY don’t care.
